Data Recovery
Once instruments have been recovered from the field, the data extracted can be processed by ASL to provide analyses such as:
- Tidal height and current predictions.
- Analysis of non-directional and directional ocean waves.
- Extremal analyses of ocean waves, currents, water levels, winds, ice keel drafts and air temperatures.
Signal Processing
ASL maintains a library of sophisticated signal processing and computing procedures for the analysis and extraction of information from noisy signals.
Propagation Modeling
ASL uses a set of acoustic propagation models which employ standard ray tracing and parabolic equation solution techniques to simulate acoustic propagation in a variety of underwater environments.
Numerical Modeling
ASL offers state of the art three-dimensional
numerical modeling solutions for the analysis and prediction of currents, water levels and tracer properties.
Software Analysis Tools
ASL has packaged data analysis software for use with the Ice Profilerâ„¢
